Launched today, the 18th Dec’20, the new Ulysses branch website has been weeks in the making. I was contacted by their President Craig back in October. He’d liked the website I built for the Nowra Rifle Club and saw I was the webmaster, designer hence called me to chat.
Craig was keen to launch their Ulysses branch into 2021 on a high and totally re-vamp their existing website. It had served them well, however was not responsive and the old html platform made it very difficult to maintain. We arranged to meet and discuss what options I could provide them and following agreement I set about designing a test environment website.
That test environment website was a real bonus for them. Craig had gathered a small team from the branch committee to assist, thus the test website gave them an online website to view, develop and update. November and December has seen much effort and work bring all the old ‘website photo and history’ archives into the new WordPress website. Overall design was finalised and updated with all the latest news, events & photo albums ready to launch.
Feedback today, after the launch; “members are most appreciative of the updated website, bringing them many new features and advantages“. Personally I’m really pleased with the result, they now have a clear precise means to keep members informed.
March 2023 the Club is moving forward and now has a new webmaster and he has taken over the admin role, website mgt and hence my support is no longer necessary. It was great working with past President Craig and I wish them well for the future.
